Peru Viajes y Aventuras – How to pay for your booking securely

Paying for Your Trip, Simply and Securely

At Peru Viajes y Aventuras we want paying for your trip to be as easy as planning it. We offer different payment methods so you can book from anywhere in the world with complete peace of mind. This page explains your options, how the process works and what to keep in mind.

1. Available Payment Methods

Credit or Debit Card

Payment is made through a secure platform; Peru Viajes y Aventuras does not store your full card details.

PayPal

If you pay by PayPal, the account details are included in your booking confirmation.

Bank Transfer or Deposit

Ideal for payments from within Peru or for larger amounts. The account details are sent with your booking confirmation.

International transfers may incur intermediary bank fees, which must be covered by the client so that the amount received matches the total booking price.

Digital Wallets (payments from Peru)

If you pay by Yape, Plin or another wallet, the number and account holder are included in your booking confirmation.

Money Transfer Services

If you pay by Western Union, MoneyGram or a similar service, the beneficiary's name and city are included in your booking confirmation.

Cash Payment at Our Office

You can pay in cash, in soles or US dollars, at our office in Cusco. The address and opening hours are confirmed when you book.

2. Deposit and Balance

A deposit of the total service price is required to confirm your booking. The percentage is stated in your booking confirmation.

The balance must be paid by the date stated in your booking confirmation.

For services that require tickets to be issued in advance (such as Machu Picchu entrance, trains, or Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu Mountain), full payment of the ticket may be required at the time of booking, since these are issued in your name and are non-refundable once issued.

Places and tickets are not held until payment is received.

3. Currency and Exchange Rate

If you pay in a different currency, the exchange rate on the day of payment will apply. Your bank or card issuer may charge additional currency conversion fees.

4. How to Pay for Your Booking

Choose your tour or service and send us your booking request with the passengers' details.

We will send you confirmation of availability, the total amount and the deposit details.

Make the payment using your preferred method.

Send us the payment receipt or proof of payment by email or WhatsApp.

You will receive written confirmation of your booking and, later, your tickets or vouchers.

5. Payment Receipts

We issue an electronic sales receipt (boleta) or invoice (factura), as applicable, in accordance with Peruvian tax regulations. If you need an invoice, please provide your company name and tax ID (RUC or equivalent) when booking.

6. On-Site Payments Not Included

Some items that are not part of the services booked are paid directly at the destination and, in many cases, only in cash and in Peruvian soles, for example:

7. Refunds

Where a refund applies under our Booking Policies, it will be made through the same payment method used. Non-recoverable bank or payment gateway fees may be deducted from the amount refunded.

8. Payment Security

Only make payments through the methods and accounts listed on this page or in our official confirmation.

We will never ask you for passwords, verification codes or your card's security code by email, WhatsApp or phone.

If you receive payment details different from those published here, please check with us first through our official channels.
